Zemora AI Voice - private beta

AI Voice Agents for Sales Calls, Lead Qualification and Customer Support

Zemora AI Voice is a conversational voice agent that places and answers business calls. It works from your scripts and your objection handling, qualifies the person on the line while the conversation is still happening, books the meeting on your calendar, and passes the call to a human the moment it should. It is in private beta with design partners across Canada and the US.

What it is

A voice agent that holds a real conversation, not a phone tree

The difference between an AI voice agent and an IVR menu is that nobody has to press 1.

A Zemora voice agent answers or dials a phone number, speaks in natural language, and responds to whatever the person on the other end actually says – including interruptions, tangents and objections. It is trained on the material your team already uses: your call scripts, your qualifying criteria, the objections you hear every week, and the tone you want represented.

The agent runs on a sub-400ms median response path, which is the threshold where a caller stops noticing the gap and starts treating the exchange as a conversation. When the conversation reaches something the agent should not decide alone – pricing beyond the published range, a complaint, a question outside its brief – it hands the call to a person rather than improvising.

Outbound

Outbound calling that qualifies before your team picks up

Most outbound lists never get a second touch. The agent works the whole list at the same standard as the first call.

Give the agent a list and a campaign brief and it dials, opens with your framing, asks the discovery questions you defined, and records the answers against each contact. Contacts who qualify get booked or routed to a rep. Contacts who do not are marked with the reason, so the list gets more accurate every pass instead of being re-dialled blindly.

This is the part of AI lead qualification that is hardest to staff: it is repetitive, it is high volume, and quality drops as the day goes on. The agent asks question four with the same care as question one on call three hundred.

Campaign configuration

Each campaign carries its own script, qualifying criteria, calling window, retry rules and outcome routing. Running two offers means two campaigns, not one agent trying to hold both.

Retry and pacing rules

You set how many attempts a contact gets, how far apart, and which local hours are allowed. Calls stay inside business hours in the contact time zone.

Outcome capture

Every call ends with a structured outcome – qualified, not qualified, callback, do not call – written back with the reason and the transcript attached.

Inbound

Inbound calls answered on the first ring, at 9pm and on Saturday

For inbound, the agent answers immediately, works out why the person is calling, and either resolves it, books it, or routes it. The commercial case is simple: a lead who calls three vendors usually books with whoever answers, and the cost of missing a call is the whole job, not a fraction of it.

Inbound agents can run on their own number or sit inside a wider call flow – IVR menus, ring groups, queues and business-hours routing – through Zemora Connect, the phone system the voice agents plug into. If you want the full inbound and outbound picture together, that is the AI call center setup.

Qualification

How a call actually gets qualified

Discovery questions, a qualification decision, an outcome, and a record of why.

The full path is: lead arrives, the agent has the conversation, discovery questions get asked and answered, the qualification decision is made against your criteria, an outcome is recorded, the CRM is updated, and the lead is either booked, handed to a human, or closed with a reason. That whole sequence is covered in more depth on the AI lead qualification page.

1. Discovery

The agent works through the discovery questions you defined – budget, timeline, decision-making, current provider, whatever your criteria actually are – and adapts the order to how the conversation is going.

2. Qualification

Answers are checked against your criteria during the call, not afterwards. The agent knows whether it is talking to a fit before the call ends.

3. Outcome

Qualified calls go to booking or a live handoff. Everything else is closed out with a reason attached, so the next pass over the list is better informed.

Appointments

Appointment booking inside the call, not after it

When a lead qualifies, the agent offers times and books the meeting during the conversation. Booking while the person is still on the phone is the difference between a meeting and a follow-up task nobody gets to – the callback-to-booking drop-off is where most qualified interest quietly dies.

Where a booking needs confirming or a reminder before the day, Zemora AI SMS handles the reminder sequence and the reschedule replies on the same contact record.

Visibility

Every call comes back as a transcript, not a mystery

Each call produces a full transcript and a sentiment score, attached to the contact. That matters for three reasons: you can check what the agent actually said, you can see which objections keep recurring, and you can use real call outcomes to tighten the script instead of guessing at it.

Recordings and transcripts are retained on the schedule you choose. The default is twelve months; design partners can request 30, 60 or 90 days, or deletion on demand. The retention and access model is documented on the security overview.

Integrations

The call outcome lands in the CRM your team already uses

A qualified call that stays inside the calling tool is not much use. Zemora AI Voice writes contacts, call outcomes and call logs back to HubSpot, Pipedrive and GoHighLevel, and to custom CRMs through a direct integration built during onboarding.

Because voice, SMS, email and chat share one contact record, a lead qualified on a call and then followed up by text is one conversation history rather than four disconnected logs.

Compliance

Calling rules we work inside

Automated calling is regulated differently on each side of the border, and the rules are not optional. For voice we follow CRTC rules in Canada and the FCC Telemarketing Sales Rule in the US, including the required disclosures and Do Not Call list checks. The agent identifies itself as an AI agent rather than implying it is a person.

For text, Zemora is registered for A2P 10DLC and enforces TCPA-compliant consent, automatic STOP and HELP handling, and per-campaign content review. Full detail sits on the security overview and in the privacy policy.

Getting started

From scoping call to a live voice pilot

The same four steps we run with every design partner. No methodology deck.

1. Scoping call

Thirty minutes with whoever would run this day to day. We map where calling breaks down, which systems we would touch, and whether a voice pilot is worth running at all.

2. Pilot design

We write up the specific workflow – scripts, qualifying criteria, data sources, integrations – and send a written scope back within 48 hours.

3. Beta deployment

We configure the agent, connect it to your CRM and numbers, and run a small pilot on real calls with your supervision.

4. Scale and iterate

Once the pilot holds up, volume opens. You get a weekly review with call metrics, transcripts and clear next steps.

Who uses it

Teams putting AI voice agents on the phone today

Voice tends to earn its place fastest where a missed call is a lost job or a lost claim. That includes home services and trades, where the first contractor to answer usually wins the work, and medical billing companies running outbound to practices. Marketing agencies use it to deliver AI calling to their own clients without building the stack.

Voice is one of seven products on the platform. If the job is follow-up rather than calling, AI SMS and AI email agents cover the same contact record, and AI chat covers the website.

Common questions

AI voice agent questions

Answered from what the product does today, not what is planned.

What is an AI voice agent?

A conversational agent that places and answers phone calls in natural language. It works from a script and a system prompt you define, responds to what the caller actually says rather than reading a menu, and can qualify, book or transfer depending on the capabilities enabled for it.

Can Zemora handle inbound calls?

Yes. Inbound agents answer immediately, establish why the person is calling, and resolve, book or route it. They can sit on their own number or inside a wider call flow through Zemora Connect.

Can Zemora make outbound calls?

Yes. Outbound runs as campaigns with their own script, criteria, calling hours, attempt limits and concurrency cap. See AI outbound calling.

Can an AI voice agent qualify leads?

That is its main job. It asks the discovery questions defined for the campaign, checks the answers against your criteria during the call, and records the outcome with a reason. See AI lead qualification.

Can it book appointments?

Yes, where booking is enabled for that agent - it is an explicit per-agent capability rather than something every agent can do by default. See appointment setting.

Can it transfer calls to a human?

Yes, where that capability is enabled. Transfers default to warm: the agent hands over with context, and the transfer is recorded with a reason, a timestamp and who accepted it.

Can it update a CRM?

Contacts, call outcomes and call logs write back to HubSpot, Pipedrive and GoHighLevel, and to custom CRMs through an integration built during onboarding.

Can different campaigns use different scripts?

Yes. The script, the goals and the targeting criteria are held on the campaign, so campaigns running at the same time are fully independent of each other.

Can multiple AI agents work under one campaign?

Not within a single campaign - each campaign is bound to one AI agent, which is what keeps its script, voice and qualification logic coherent. A business can run many agents across many campaigns at once, each with its own prompt, voice profile and language.

Are calls recorded?

Calls produce a transcript stored turn by turn with speaker attribution, plus sentiment scoring. Recording and retention follow the schedule you set - 30, 60, 90 days or 12 months, or deletion on demand.

Can the agent operate after business hours?

Inbound agents can answer at any hour, which is usually where the clearest gain is. Outbound is constrained by the calling hours set on the campaign, in the contact time zone.
