Zemora Connect - in development

Zemora Connect: a Cloud Phone System Built for Teams Running AI Agents

Zemora Connect is a multi-tenant cloud phone system – UCaaS – that gives every team its own numbers, extensions and call flows, with voice, SMS and voicemail in one place. It is the telephony backbone the Zemora AI voice agents plug into, so human reps and AI agents share the same lines, the same routing and the same call history. Currently in development.

What it is

A business phone system, not a dialler bolted onto an AI

Connect is a cloud phone system in the ordinary sense: numbers, extensions, call flows, voicemail and call history for a business, delivered as software rather than a box in a cupboard. Teams that have outgrown a handful of mobiles, or that are paying for a legacy PBX nobody wants to touch, are the ones it is built for.

What makes it different from a conventional UCaaS platform is that AI agents are first-class participants. An agent holds an extension, sits in the routing plan next to your reps, and can transfer a live call to a person – rather than living in a separate tool that happens to make calls.

Call flows

Routing built visually, not in a config file

IVR menus, ring groups, queues, business hours and voicemail.

AI agents are placed in these flows by extension, which is what makes the hybrid arrangements possible: an agent as queue overflow, an agent taking first contact with a human fallback, or an agent on one number while everything else routes to people as it always did.

IVR menus

Route callers by what they need before anyone picks up – sales, support, accounts – or skip the menu and let an AI agent establish intent in conversation.

Ring groups and queues

Ring a team simultaneously or in order, hold callers in a queue, and set overflow behaviour when everyone is busy.

Business hours

Different routing inside and outside working hours, with holiday handling. Straight to a rep during the day, to an AI agent or voicemail overnight.

Numbers and carriers

Bring your own carrier, or buy numbers through us

Connect does not lock you to a single carrier. You can bring an existing SIP trunk and keep your current numbers and rates, or buy DIDs through Twilio, Telnyx or Bandwidth during setup.

Multi-tenancy is real isolation rather than a label: each team gets its own numbers, extensions and routing, which is what makes Connect workable for agencies running telephony on behalf of several clients at once.

With AI agents

Where Connect ends and AI Voice begins

The two products do different jobs and are deliberately separable. Connect is the telephony: numbers, routing, queues, recordings, call history. AI Voice is the conversation: natural language, discovery questions, qualification, booking.

You can run AI Voice against a phone system you already have, and you can run Connect with no AI agents at all as a straightforward cloud PBX. Teams that take both get one place where numbers, routing, recordings and agents all live – which is the arrangement described on the AI call center page.

Connect on its own

A modern cloud phone system for a team that wants numbers, extensions, IVR, queues and voicemail without a legacy PBX. No AI required.

Connect plus AI Voice

The same phone system with AI agents holding extensions inside it – answering overflow, covering out of hours, and running outbound campaigns on your lines.

Records

One call history for the whole team

Every call carries a recording and a transcript on the same record, whether it was handled by a rep or an agent. Retention follows the schedule you set – the platform default is twelve months, with 30, 60 and 90 day options and deletion on demand. Encryption and access control are documented on the security overview.
